In most cases, you’ll need a combination of these services, because sorting without removing them only results in packing them near the door, and removing without sorting just shifts the clutter elsewhere.

In almost every case, clearing out the mess reveals dust, dirt, and grime that have been hiding underneath for months or even years. A shelf covered by boxes not only needs to be sorted through, but it also needs to be cleaned now that it can be seen again.
